Despite the Avengers being the most famous superhero team currently in the MCU, they are far from being the only one. Alongside Earth’s Mightiest heroes we have, Eternals, Guardians of the Galaxy, and future projects are about to set up Thunderbolts, Young Avengers, and the X-Men within the mainline MCU continuity.
Now we know that Marvel Comics are home to plenty of superhero teams besides the aforementioned this is why a lot of fans were wondering whether there is a potential to expand on some less-known teams, the main candidate being Alpha Flight. In his recent Q&a Alex Perez, a reliable source for rumors and leaks related to the MCU, claimed that Marvel Studios is thinking about incorporating two other teams from the comics, and neither is Alpha Flight unfortunately.
There have been discussions about MI13 being developed, as well as Agents of Atlas.

Wilco have released their 13th studio album Cousin, out now via their own dBpm Records.
Produced by Cate Le Bon, Cousin marks the first Wilco album helmed by an outside producer since 2007’s Sky Blue Sky. According to a press release, Le Bon’s influence led the band to incorporate new instruments, including saxophone, cheap Japanese guitars, and a cinematic, New Wave-style drum machine.
“The amazing thing about Wilco is they can be anything,” Le Bon said in a statement. “They’re so mercurial, and there’s this thread of authenticity that flows through everything they do, whatever the genre, whatever the feel of the record. There aren’t many bands who are able to, this deep into a successful career, successfully change things up.”
Lyrically, Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy described the album as, “this feeling of being in it and out of it at the same time.” Of the first single,...

Jeff Tweedy writes so well about his own music-making, there sometimes seems little worth adding: see his bestselling books (the annotated playlist World Within a Song: Music That Changed My Life and Life That Changed My Music is due November) and his Starship Casual Substack (Nb: the July 4 riff on Paul Simon’s “America”). But hey, outside perspective can be useful — as Cousin proves. It’s the first Wilco set since the ‘00s to use an outside producer, and it shows, in the best possible way.

Since 2007’s Sky Blue Sky, Wilco has settled into a more straightforward musical style defined by stripped-back, acoustic instrumentation and Jeff Tweedy’s confessional songwriting. The band’s latest, Cousin, seeks to fold Tweedy and company’s past into their present, exploring a more experimental and messy sound than their other recent releases.
This is due in no small part to Cate Le Bon’s varied production style. Cousin opens with the dense “Infinite Surprise,” whose main melodic hook is buried within layers of guitars, feedback, synths, and cacophonous strings. Tweedy’s vocals sound frailer than usual, almost frightened, which complements the track’s unsettling atmosphere. It’s perhaps the grandest opening statement to any Wilco album since Yankee Hotel Foxtrot’s “I Am Trying to Break Your Heart.”

The cast of Wednesday made a video appearance at Netflix’s Tudum global fan event in São Paulo, Brazil, and teased that a new Addams family member was joining in Season 2.
Jenna Ortega (Wednesday Addams), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair) and Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin) dispelled fan theories and one of them was around speculation there would be a new member of the Addams family showing up.
The cast confirmed the news that viewers would get to see more of Wednesday’s family but did not reveal who it would be. Ortega said she “would love to see Cousin Itt” while the other cast members said they wanted to see Grandma Addams.
Another fan theory that the cast tackled was Gwendoline Christie’s Professor Weems who was seemingly left for dead at the end of the first season. Ortega points out that viewers “never see her funeral...

On the Friday after Tom Wambsgans became the new puppet CEO of the Waystar-Royco media empire, the actor who has spent the past five years essaying the character’s ups, downs, and withering one-liners is propping up the bar of a small boutique hotel in London’s Chelsea. Matthew Macfadyen is nursing a lime tonic and contemplating a rest after several months of hard work on Succession’s blockbusting fourth season. In some other world, one imagines his fictional alter-ego is already discovering the poison in the chalice of the job he has spent a lifetime coveting. Macfadyen, instead, is content simply to think ahead to a quiet family dinner, and to reflect on the adventure of his past half decade.
“I’ll miss it,” he says quietly of his time on Succession. “It was such a lovely, lovely job.”
So confidently has Macfadyen brought his character to life through...

This piece contains spoilers for the "Succession" season 4 premiere.
Sadly, "Succession" has entered its endgame. In a matter of weeks, the question posed by the title will finally be answered, all the chips will fall into place and this story will have its definitive ending. Until then, we'll be lapping up every single second of sweet "Succession" goodness that we have: the hilarity of its razor-sharp dialogue, the catharsis of the Roys rehashing familial trauma, and of course, the singular joy of watching odd couple Tom (Matthew Macfadyen) and Greg (Nicholas Braun) share the screen. Empires rise and fall, and alliances come and go, but the kinship between Tom and Greg will last forever ... probably.
For at least a little while longer, Sporus and Nero are basically attached at the hip, with Tom as the Head of Atn and Greg as his right-hand man. Because even though Tom couldn't save...

At this year’s Sundance, the hills were alive with the sound of fucking.
Though mainstream movies have devolved into a sex-free enterprise, where superheroes and Xenu’s chosen one vie for maximum profit, the premier showcase for independent cinema is still letting its freak flag fly. Yes, the 2023 Sundance Film Festival — running from Jan. 19 to 29 — was delightfully horny, serving as a rebuke to an industry that has for years treated onscreen sex as a sin more damning than all matter of corporal violence; one dominated by striking Marvel and...

Exactly two months from now, all your dreams will come true. Assuming, of course, that your primary dream in life is to finally see the fallout of the devastating season 3 finale of "Succession." Beyond the united front that is Kendall (Jeremy Strong), Siobhan (Sarah Snook), and Roman (Kieran Culkin), what more could you possibly need? Thankfully, the news from HBO is that the wait is very nearly over. "Succession" is coming back with 10 new episodes of dysfunctional family drama starting Sunday, March 26.
Just over a year ago, the three Roy siblings — sans first pancake Connor (Alan Ruck) — made the very risky move to double-cross their father Logan (Brian Cox) in a desperate attempt to stop him from selling Waystar Royco. The high of seeing them all work together was very quickly squashed by their epic failure, all the more devastating because it was orchestrated by Shiv's husband, Tom (Matthew Macfadyen). So what comes next?...

Pairing wine with movies! See the trailers and hear the fascinating commentary for these movies and many more at Trailers From Hell. This week, we dig into a few movies featuring Peter Lorre – with wine pairings for each.
Peter Lorre was an amazing actor, we don’t need to beat that horse to death. However, beyond his emotive skills was that voice – that incredible voice. His take as Joel Cairo in The Maltese Falcon is a superb example of the unconvincing convincer. When he tells Sam Spade to “kindly clasp your hands behind your neck” it’s no surprise that the table is turned faster than a Lazy Susan. There was a comic – I can’t remember who – who did a quick impression of Lorre as a sportscaster, running down how one team killed, murdered… annihilated the other. In that voice. That incredible voice.
