Whittmey Payne

Whittmey Payne is a Multi-Award Telly and Webby-winning Producer with over ten-plus awards for various TV series. She received her B.A. in Broadcast Journalism with honors at Texas Southern University and distinction in Master's in Strategic Communications at the University of San Francisco. She also studied at Cornell University for a Business and Entrepreneurship summer course.
For the past fifteen-plus years, Whittmey has excelled at Production Management and Producing, working with leading companies such as MTV, VH1, ESPN, and Electronic Arts.
In 2018, Whittmey led the media team for a presidential candidate, Oby Ezekwesili, a top contender candidate for the Nigeria Presidental Elections.
In 2021, Whittmey won a Webby, and a hand full of Telly awards for the Sims Spark'd. In addition to Two Telly's for Apex Legends Gaming Tournament.
In 2022, Whittmey joined the Board of the Association of Movies Producers for Nigeria.
Currently, Whittmey leads Maame Productions, where she has written, produced, and published a set of reality shows, animations, and competition shows. Whittmey also consults with high-net-worth individuals, businesses, and government officials on content development, film policy, and production infrastructure.
