Shamar Rice

Shamar Rice was born in Baltimore, MD, he spent most of his childhood dancing with his family dance crew: The Baltimore Show Stoppers; Performing and battling other crews. Later in life, after he tore his meniscus he discovered that he had a love and passion for acting. Recovering from his injury, he spent most of his time developing his career in acting. Eventually, a few months later after a lot of physical therapy he continued pursuing his passion in the entertainment industry.
Shamar grew up around dance at an early age. His brother Travis influenced him to join the family dance group when he was five years old and that he would take him under his wing. While in elementary/middle school, Shamar was always the center of attention known as "happy feet". Shamar has did school talent shows continuing to be active and fit so that he could attend performances with his family.
Living in Baltimore, Shamar studied the acting industry being on many sets, researching all terminology, etc. That's where he began to look at things from a professional level watching A-List actors maneuver. Shamar took his career seriously and got into acting classes at The Online Actor Training Studio in Toronto, ON studying with Vas Saranga. In 2021 Shamar booked his first supporting role on a short film that is now on YouTube called "Game Over Short Film." Since then, Shamar booked multiple roles on feature films, web-series, short films & his most recent booking in 2022 was a Co-Star role on the TV series Perry Mason on HBO Max.
