She flees only to have her housemate Georgann Hawkins disappear days later.
- Ted Bundy attempted to abducted her June 1, 1974 at the University of Washington. While on crutches, he claimed to need help carrying a gasoline can. When they arrived at his Volkswagen Beetle, she sat in the driver's seat while he was behind the car. She sensed something was amiss and ran off.
