I've had those years where tennis hasn't been the top priority. There
can be some regrets there, but I think that has saved me for the long
run. I think my best tennis can still be ahead of me.

can't always keep my eyes on the ball.
What makes something special is not just what you have to gain, but
what you feel there is to lose.
Felt like I've been playing well; played well in Australia, played well
last week. You know, was playing well this week but just ran into a guy
that played a lot better.
Every day, you have to be better than one person. And what is required
each day is always different.
Image is everything.
Tennis is lonely. I would have been better off in a team sport. When I started to make a difference in children's lives, I felt like I finally had my team.
