- For a special wedding present, he bought Amber a house and a pair of real diamond earrings (because she always wore fake). She bought him a Boston Red Socks painting, (as he is a huge fan) and got it signed by the players. She also made him a necklace filled with sand from Panama (where they fell in love) and sand from the Bahamas (where they were married).

- He and Shii Ann Huang are the only contestants competing in "Survivor All-Stars" who were not members of the "jury" that decided the winners in their previous "Survivor" attempts.
