Branislav Kovacevic

- Producer
Born in Valjevo, Serbia (near Belgrade), Branislav's early fascination with computers and electronic music laid the foundation for his successful career. While still in high school, he landed his first job as a Sound Designer at a radio station, igniting a passion for audio engineering. This passion led him to Belgrade's renowned Studio Blue Velvet, where he apprenticed under the legendary Milos Pavlovic for several years. Under Pavlovic's tutelage, Branislav honed his skills in audio recording, engineering, post-production, and mastering.
During this period, Branislav was not only a member and music producer/composer for the chart-topping Serbian bands Extravaganja and VaNaMa, but also served as a recording engineer, producer, and mastering engineer for numerous other artists. His talent extended beyond music, even creating sound effects and soundtracks for theatrical productions. One notable collaboration was with the late acclaimed actress Sonja Savic on her modern interpretation of Beckett's "Waiting for Godot." Additionally, he composed soundtracks for television shows.
Following the bombing of Serbia, Branislav established a successful private School of Audio Engineering, before eventually relocating to Slovenia. There, he expanded his horizons, focusing on diverse projects, primarily in the multimedia field, with Nuit Ltd, the Kapelica Gallery, and Ljudmila (Ljubljana Digital Media Lab), while also taking on freelance work in local studios. Over a decade ago, Branislav's work as a composer flourished, encompassing local films, video games, and a confidential project with the acclaimed David Goldfarb, founder of The Outsiders and lead designer of iconic titles like Battlefield 3 and Bad Company. However, the past decade has seen Branislav step away from the public eye, dedicating his time to personal pursuits and artistic exploration.
