Rodrigo Quezada is an emerging talent in the world of filmmaking, who is set to take the industry by a storm with his directorial debut. Born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico, Rodrigo has been passionate about filmmaking since his early childhood. His family exposed him to a lot of classic 70's and 80's American films as a kid so he has always had a particular fondness for pop culture from those decades. That, of course, translated into Rodrigo's own work and voice as an artist later on. After receiving a scholarship for his outstanding screenwriting abilities Rodrigo began his study at New York Film Academy where he got to meet and collaborate with many like-minded filmmakers. Despite going through the midst of the pandemic, he put all efforts into not only studying but also working on as many creative projects as he could, earning a lot of experience in the process. Nearing the end of his study, Rodrigo directed the exciting project that was "The Ballad of Sadie LeBelle", his directorial debut and an homage to the old spaghetti westerns he had the pleasure of enjoying throughout his childhood.
