After attending the University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois on a football scholarship and receiving the George Huff Award for Excellence in Athletics and Academics while playing football for the Fighting Illini and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and after graduating from the University of California School of Law (Boalt Hall) at Berkeley, Bruce commenced his legal career with the California Department of Justice in the Office of the State Attorney General in Los Angeles. Thereafter, Bruce developed a private practice of law as a sole practitioner in business and business litigation specializing in real estate transactions, securities offerings, partnership, corporate and entertainment matters and athlete representation, prior to associating with a Los Angeles business and business litigation law firm, where he concentrated on transactional work in connection with the aforementioned business matters. In the mid 90s, Bruce expanded his career pursuits into motion picture, television and home entertainment production as a writer and producer (continuing to perform legal services in connection with securities offerings for motion picture financing and entertainment transactions from development through preproduction, production, post production and distribution for motion picture, television and home entertainment projects) and has written and produced several sports oriented programs for television and home entertainment distribution and produced an action adventure fantasy feature film entitled "Warrior" for theatrical, television and home entertainment distribution. Bruce is providing legal services to the entertainment community and developing and producing additional feature films. Bruce has a son Cary who is the lead guitarist with an emerging rock/metal band yet to be named.
