Tanya M. Williams(II)
- Producer
- Writer
- Editor
Tanya is a graduate of Florida A&M University. Although she studied pharmacy, being a creative has always been her passion. Art, music and poetry have always come easy to her. In 2017, she decided to take her love for movies and story-telling to the next level. In collaboration with her sister, Shelley Miller, they decided to start a production company to give people of color more opportunities. With idols like Issa Rae, Shonda Rhimes and Lena Waithe, they decided to create their own content to share with the world.
Tanya is the primary writer for the team. Her interests include features, short films and web series. Some of her written work has garnered awards in a few film festivals. Tanya aspires to tell everyday stories with people who look like her, in hopes to one day sell scripts with a strong black woman lead, sit in a writer's room that takes diversity and the opinions of others seriously and maybe even be a showrunner of her own show. Having Sickle Cell Disease, has also shaped her into a woman who will not allow anything to hold her back. She is driven and determined to forge a path, others can follow. As a lover of Christ, Tanya prays that people start to value each other as much as God does, and see that talent comes in all shapes and forms.
Tanya is married to her husband Brandon and they have 2 beautiful daughters, Ariel and Zina.
