- Music Department
Elaine Christine Gallant is a Composer and Music Producer based in Quebec City. She is a musical jack-in-a-box. A self-taught guitarist, keyboardist and songwriter, she cultivated a keen interest in Jazz and synthesis before being musically trained in the Navy Cadets. There, she played brass and percussion instruments and was later asked to conduct during parades and shows. She then started to arrange music while playing in several ensembles and blending genres from symphonic to jazz to electronic. After a degree in Languages and Literature and years of songwriting, she learned computer-assisted music production with Berklee Online's Coursera certifications. She now writes music for TV (History Channel, Animal Planet, CTV) and Video games (Optimistic Games) and enjoys perfecting her sound design skills in experimental audio-art projects, instrument building and programming.
