David Boanuh (born February 1, 1997), also known as Gospel, is a Poet and a Filmmaker from Accra Ghana. He is the Co-Founder of Beautiful Stories Studios; a production company that seeks to retell the diverse untold stories of Africa from the African perspective through Photography & Film.
David's journey into the Arts dates back to his High School where he started Poetry. Throughout his journey as a poet he has amassed awards such as; In 2015, he won the first place in Ghana Teen Poetry Slam and in that same year got third place in Ehalakasa Poetry Slum. His love for poetry was one of the major influences that led him into filmmaking which he began at Ashesi University. He started out as a Travel and lifestyle filmmaking and later grew into narrative and documentary filmmaking.
Through his love for poetry and filmmaking he co-founded Beautiful Stories Studios. David has been sort out by renowned companies such as Apple, Vogue, Tony's Chocolonely, Vlisco, Unilever x Chelsea and many others due to his unique vision and quality of work produced as a Director and Cinematographer.
