Born in London to Jamaican parents. Moved to Kingston, Jamaica at the age of 5 where he lived with his mother's parents for five years before moving to the Bronx, New York.
Graduated from The University of New York at Albany with a B.A. in
African American Studies.
In college was cast as the musician Charlie Parker in "A Bird Flies In
A Guilded Cage", directed by D. B. Woodside
Performed in his first play at age 12 at P. S. 41 in the Bronx.
In 2001, nominated for N.A.A.C.P. Theater Award for Best Supporting
Actor in Jeffery's Plan.
