The opening narration to "The Twilight Zone" episode "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" states that Bob Wilson (William Shatner) has just been discharged from a sanitarium, finally having (mostly) recuperated from a nervous breakdown experienced on an airplane six months earlier. He is about to get on a plane again for the first since his breakdown, and his wife Julia (Christine White) is wary that flying may trigger another severe panic attack. Bob assures her that he may be nervous, but that he should be able to survive.

In 1966, Montreal-born William Shatner was cast in the role that would change his life, Capt. James Tiberius Kirk in NBC's sci-fi drama "Star Trek." Shatner would go on to play the starship captain for three seasons before reprising Kirk in a Saturday morning cartoon and then in several "Trek" movies throughout the 1970s, '80s, and '90s until Kirk's demise in 1994's "Star Trek Generations." And while Kirk will always be his signature role, the truth is that it's one of many for an actor who first made his way to Hollywood in the 1950s after performing Shakespeare with the famed Stratford Festival in his native Canada.
In fact, Shatner has amassed a whopping 250 screen credits over the years. His roles have run the gamut, ranging from Ranger...

The Willow Foundation is a national charity that provides special days for seriously ill 16 to 40 year olds throughout the UK. The charity was set up by Arsenal legend Bob Wilson and his wife, Megs, in memory of their daughter who died of cancer aged just 31.
The unique charity has provided thousands of morale-boosting special days for people living with cancer, cystic fibrosis, motor neurone disease, organ failure, muscular dystrophy and Huntington’s, amongst other conditions.
How you can help
The special days that the charity provides to people living with life threatening conditions are entirely the applicants choosing and can often be a request to meet their favourite celebrity. We rely on the support of celebrities to be able to fulfil these special day requests, some of which are their last chance to realise a dream.
The charity also runs several fundraising events that involve a great deal of support...

How on Earth did we survive two years without new episodes of Netflix’s brilliant sketch comedy series I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson? The first batch of six episodes premiered on April 23 of 2019 and proved instantly iconic.
Contained within the season’s roughly two-dozen sketches was absolutely hilarious and essential comedy that provided ample memetic kindling for the internet’s conversational fire. For the focused enough mind, it’s entirely possible to communicate with one’s friends exclusively in I Think You Should Leave memes. Lord knows, I’ve tried it.
Thankfully, Itysl season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix after its Covid-19 delay. It features 28 sketches that range from “pretty funny” to “I can’t stop laughing. Oh God, I can’t stop laughing. It hurts, surely this is the end. Surely, I will die.”
