Carmen Banks
Carmen is a UMD alumnus an Actor, Singer and Professional Esthetician. Carmen began her year playing a mother of 3 for Marvel Studios and Disney+ exclusive episodic series: WandaVision (2021). As well as being cast as a GSR soldier on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021). Soon after she was cast to play a patient and church goer in National Geographic's upcoming biopic of Genius Aretha (2021). Her recent experience allows her to feel comfortable on all formats of content she participates in, regardless of it being Television, Reality, or a feature film production. A testament to her versatility as an individual!
Carmen's childhood passion for performance was cultivated during her summers spent at Mrs. Farb's Speech and Youth Theatre Camp. Leading to Carmen achieving a place at The Baltimore School Of the Arts where she fervently studied the craft of acting and performance arts. Peter Sklar's Beginnings Workshop furthered her development that led to her being cast in a play called 'The Little Shop of Horrors', which was performed Off-Broadway.
As a UMD alumnus, Carmen has continued to perfect her craft as a Multi-State, Licensed, Master Esthetician. Her gift of skin care is utilized to enhance the confidence of her clients, while educating her follower base on her social media accounts. A passion for skincare has enabled her to continuously obtain additional licenses, learn advanced techniques/machinery, and acquire a wealth of knowledge only obtainable through a true dedication to your field. A passion which will be applied to her pursuit of an on screen career which she hopes will be even more imperative to her audience.
