Painting and horror movies do occasionally meet and create something great. Recently Velvet Buzzsaw and Bliss have both been well received while covering the art world and blending it with some weird and twisted horror. Legend of the Muse tries to lead down a similar path.
We meet a painter, Adam (Riley Egan) who suddenly gets inspiration when he meets a ‘mythical and deadly spirit from Celtic lore who becomes his muse and lover’. His artwork starts to get noticed but the spirit brings along a whole host of other problems. Mainly that she murders people and leaves Adam to clear up the mess.
It’s a slowly paced movie that is occasionally...

The hunt for the legendary Bigfoot continues to inspire filmmakers and storytellers and we’ve got a trailer for a new film for you to check out today called Hoax.
The film follows a team who travels “deep into the wilderness after a group of young campers are viciously murdered and linked to Bigfoot. The highly specialized crew search for evidence and fight to survive the powerful beast. If they work together they may live to prove the existence of bigfoot, but what they discover may be more unexpected and dangerous than anything they could have imagined.”
Bigfoot is out for blood, though, and primed to kill anyone who comes after him. The horror film actually looks like it could be pretty brutal. This could end up being a surprisingly good film!
The cast includes Adrienne Barbeau, Brian Thompson, Ben Browder, Cheryl Texiera, Shoshana Bush, Hutch Dano, Matt Reidy, Anthony Ray Parker,...

"There's something moving, I don't know what it is!" Epic Pictures has unveiled an official trailer for the "this summer's biggest horror film" titled Hoax, another new bigfoot horror movie that looks quite gnarly. The film is about an investigative team that travels deep into the wilderness after a group of young campers are viciously murdered and linked to Bigfoot. If they work together they may live to prove the existence of Bigfoot, but what they discover may be more unexpected & dangerous than anything they could've imagined. Scary. The main ensemble cast includes Adrienne Barbeau, Brian Thompson, Ben Browder, Cheryl Texiera, Shoshana Bush, Hutch Dano, Matt Reidy, Anthony Ray Parker, Christopher Soren Kelly, Ryan Lee, Max Decker, Brian Landis Folkins, Karen Slack, & Shawn Rickel. This actually looks surprisingly quite epic, like they're trying to pull off making Predator for Bigfoot on an indie budget. Here's the first official trailer (+ two posters) for Matt Allen's Hoax,...

Hugh Jackman and his wife, producer Deborra-Lee Furness, are one of Hollywood's cutest couples. The pair have been married since 1996 and have two children together -- Oscar Maximillian, 13, and Ava Eliot, 8.
But despite being married to a gorgeous hunk of a man, Jackman's wife apparently prefers him a little chubby -- not lean and muscular, like when he straps on Wolverine's claws.
"Deb will tell you that she doesn't like [my 'Wolverine' body]. She prefers me chubby because it makes her look better," Jackman tells Entertainment Tonight. But he's dubious about her claims.
"I don't know. I met her on a prison drama where I was pretty jacked in that, and I dare say we wouldn't be together if I hadn't met her with that body," he jokes.
He further tells Et that he had to train more than ever to achieve Wolverine's chiseled physique -- even having to dehydrate before a shirtless fight scene,...
