Based in Montreal, Catherine Gagnon got hooked on acting as a teenager. She, therefore, began her professional training at MSOPA, taking part in several master classes and participating in singing lessons at the Chroma Musika Voice camp.
Upon leaving school, Gagnon obtained roles in a few short films such as Razor (2021), Moving Past... Goodbye (2021) and Rigmarole (2021). Her career then took off when she won the award for Best Lead Actress for the role of Sam in Rigmarole (2021) at the Cobb International Film Festival (USA) and when Moving Past... Goodbye (2021) won The Next Generation of Filmmakers award at the Ontario International Film Festival.
Complementary to her acting profession, Catherine writes, directs, and produces her own productions, such as 'Today's the Day' (2022) and 'Scars Don't Heal' (TBD), 'Fish Over the Moon' (TBD), and 'To Exist Twice' (TBD).
