Met her husband (World War II Navy veteran Allan Madvig) in 1954 while working as a cashier at W. & J. Sloan furniture and décor in Beverly Hills, an ultra-modern building designed by famed African American architect Paul Williams. Allan was a builder of the company's window displays.
Mother of actress now business professional Cynthia Madvig, who appeared in an episode of Seinfeld ("The Caddy") and was a Top 3 contestant on The Bachelor (Season 6).
While raising her children in the late '60s and early '70s worked as a stand in on shows such as "The Andy Griffith Show," "I Dream of Jeannie," "Iron Horse," "Here Come the Brides" and "Bewitched.".
Attended the Hollywood Professional School and graduated from Beverly Hills High School.
