Oriana Ledesma is an award-winning writer and photographer from San Jose, California. She attended the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, where she majored in American Studies and Journalism.
Oriana is the daughter of Genato Ledesma and Josie Afalla, who immigrated to the United States from the Philippines. The name Oriana is of Latin origin and means "sunrise" or "dawn" symbolizing new beginnings. She is primarily of Filipino and Spainish ancestry.
Oriana's first experience in film was Martha Raddatz's "The Long Road Home," as Denomy's soldier. Working alongside Jason Ritter and observing what happens behind the scene sparked an interest in visual art of storytelling.
Oriana now works with the incredibly talented people at El Dorado Films. As a trained journalist, Oriana jumped into story development with a focus on research. She has also worked as a production assist and sound technician. Oriana is co-producing a short film on Morse code operator turned politician, Joanne Conte.
