Welcome to this week’s review of Aew Dark: Elevation, the opening salvo in the Aew wrestling week. We’ve got a repeat of last week’s commentary team, Excalibur and Matt Menard, for this episode so let’s see what the show has to offer!
Match #1: Dante Martin def. Wes Barkley
My Thoughts: After last week’s match I was expecting Dante Martin to thoroughly squash his opponent here but that wasn’t the case, Wes Barkley managed to hold his own for a short while, even getting a 1-count on Martin. Still, we were in quasi-squash territory with this one!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Arie Alexander
My Thoughts: Another strong match for Julia Hart, who now feels like she’s really relishing in her heel persona. This one was another quasi-squash, with Arie Alexander getting just enough offence in for this to...

Match #1: Wardlow def. The Blade The following is courtesy of allelitewrestling.com:
The Blade chop blocked Wardlow from behind before the bell rang! The Blade kicked at Wardlow’s leg. Wardlow took Blade off his feet with an explosive lariat! Wardlow followed up with a belly-to-belly suplex! And then another! Wardlow lifted up The Blade and rammed him spine-first into the steel ring post! Wardlow charged but Blade countered with a knee strike! Blade tried for another knee strike but Wardlow caught him and powerbombed Blade! There was a second powerbomb to Blade! Wardlow kept power bombing The Blade! Wardlow placed his boot on The Blade’s chest and pinned him!

Welcome to this weeks review of Aew Dark: Elevation, which emanates from Pittsburgh – as did most of last weeks Aew shows! The first show post-Rampage, this one has a lot to live up to. Keep the quality consistent guys!
Match #1: 2.0 (Matt Lee and Jeff Parker) vs. Duke Davis and Ganon Jones
My Thoughts: Good god Duke Davis and Ganon Jones are huge, putting 2.0 at a size disadvantage. But that didn’t stop the duo of Matt Lee and Jeff Parker, whose obvious experience offset the size and strength of Davis and Jones. Looking forward to hopefully seeing more of Duke Davis and Ganon Jones in Aew though.
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Diamante def. Julia Hart
My Thoughts: Once again Julia Hart showed a more vicious streak, foregoing the smiles in the latter half of the match – which makes sense when you’re facing Diamante, who we all...
