Here they are, your judges for the 90th Miss America pageant: The Associated Press reports Joy Behar and Marilu Henner are among seven notable personalities set to judge the famous beauty pageant, which this year will air on ABC. (It’s been six years since the event has aired on network television; recently, Miss America aired on Tlc and Cmt.) Other judges for the pageant include Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, country singer Mark Wills, Dancing With the Stars choreographer Tony Dovolani, shoe designer Taryn Rose, and Miss America 1990 Debbye Turner Bell.

The Miss America pageant returns to network TV in January on ABC, and the network used "The View" Wednesday (Dec. 8) to help promote it.
But hey, at least Joy Behar got some new jewelry out of it.
Current Miss America Caressa Cameron appeared on the show to announce the lineup of judges for the 2011 pageant -- including Behar, who also received an official state crown from Cameron. "I always wanted one of those," she said. "I'll never take it off."
(Which is a lie, apparently. The crown was gone by the time the next segment started.)
Behar also says her daughter asked her how she could call herself a feminist if she's judging a beauty contest, which gave Cameron the opportunity to explain that Miss America is a scholarship competition that isn't just about looks.

It's Friday, so naturally a beaver was the big guest on the CBS Early Show. Make that, a full-bladdered beaver. Though not for long. Blame nerves, blame nature, blame an oddly well-honed sense of urinary precision, but just a few short moments into the animal segment, unsuspecting correspondent Debbye Turner Bell was sprayed by a blast of liquid excretion. No problem, these things happen. But rarely do they happen twice in a row. As Bell made her way toward a towel-bearing minder, the beaver struck again, this time releasing another stream of pee right in her face. We don't know whether to be impressed or grossed out. The Early Show, though, clearly wanted us to go with the latter,...
