Telly Award-winning actress, Ava Jean Cutlip grew up on the stage. The daughter of a Radio City Rockette, Ava's childhood was filled with an inclination for dance and storytelling. Developing impromptu plays and short films was a childhood pastime that evolved into penning full-fledged musicals in her early teens.
Dance became an integral part of Ava's life under the mentorship of Chet Walker, a renowned figure in the world of jazz dance. Inspired by Walker's work with Bob Fosse, Ava found herself drawn to the expressiveness of theatrical movement. Her dance journey was further enriched by training with Amanda Edge of the New York City Ballet and Brad Parquette of the Joffrey Ballet. Ava's on-stage debut was A Carolina Snowbelle Christmas at The Kennedy Center in 2018.
Ava's passion for the arts was not limited to dance. At age 14, she landed her first acting role in the pilot "Childish." Her 2022 performance in "1300 Miles to Broadway," directed by Kenny Ortega and alongside Kristin Chenoweth, proved a turning point. Here, Ava showcased her talent as not only an actor and dancer but also as a singer.
