- Since 1991, George Guerrette has scored hundreds of hours of picture, including dramatic and animated series themes and underscores, documentary film, network IDs, nationally broadcast award shows and commercials for multi-national brands. Due to the distribution of projects for terrestrial broadcast entities such as the PBS, BBC, CBC and more, George's music has been heard on every inhabited continent on the planet (predating streaming). Sessions have ranged from full orchestral to all-virtual, thanks to a technical command borne out of a voracious curiosity for synth and computer-assisted music production that started way back in 1985.
Also a trombonist, George is part of a family line of professional musicians. His parents met while performing in Canada's most popular big bands of the swing era, and his son continues the tradition as a Presidential Scholar at The Berklee College of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.- IMDb Mini Biography By: George Guerrette
- During World War II, George's mother was plucked out of a weapons factory where she worked by day (while singing by night) to become "Ronnie The Bren Gun Girl", a propaganda icon for Canada's women to join her in the factories in support of the war effort. Canada's "Ronnie" predated the creation in The United States of "Rosie The Riveter" by one year. In April 2020, The Canada Post Corporation issued a stamp recognizing her place in the war effort.
