Lincoln Edwards is a 19 year old, four-time awarded Director/Filmmaker. Born and raised in San Diego, California, he began making his first movies at 10 years old, using an iPod 5. He and his family moved to Texas in 2014, where he continued his passion utilizing YouTube for a creative outlet. After being kicked out of his high school video class his sophomore year, he was asked by his coach (who was a supporter of his) to make the submission video for a national video contest. Lincoln's video won first place, beating out second place by 40,000 votes. The school was given the award of an $800k locker room as a result. He achieved public recognition following this first major award.
The following summer, he gathered $1k, family, and friends from his film class, to make his first official short film "01' Escalade." Lincoln was awarded "Best Young Filmmaker" at the Lake Travis Film Festival in Austin, Texas, "Best Student Short Film" at The Hill Country Film Festival, and "Best Student Film" at the Gulf Coast Film and Video Festival.
He played the role of Ephram in "Full Tilt", Jake in "Connors Cake", and Chad in his school's theatrical production of "Highschool Musical".
Lincoln is in development on several upcoming projects.
