Janet Walker realized early that the boundaries of her small town weren't big enough for her dreams, and finally moved to Manhattan to attend NYU. After years of explaining to her sister that writing was her career, her sister gently explained, "writer's write." The truth of her words became the catalyst for her first works. Her acting aspirations began simply, during the Academy Awards, after watching a winner's speech an inner nudging propelled her to enroll in acting classes at a local college. It went well and years later, after study with acclaimed acting teacher Penny Templeton, she auditioned and was accepted to Circle in the Square Theater School. It would be sometime before she would build Haute-Lifestyle.com, a boutique luxury lifestyle magazine, and create her award winning screenplay, The Six Sides of Truth. She followed that with three additional award winning screenplays, The Assassins of Fifth Avenue, The Wednesday Killer and The Manhattan Project. She also created Justice Watch Investigates: Rape, Religion, Money and Wall Street.
