Mark Ingram Jr.
Attended Grand Blanc (Flint, Mich.) HS from 2003-06, where he ran for 846 yards and 14 touchdowns on 121 carries (7.0 avg.) as a junior, adding 260 yards and two scores on 22 receptions (11.8 avg.), while posting 33 tackles with two interceptions at cornerback. Prepped at Flint Southwestern Academy as a senior in 2007 and earned All-State and Detroit Free Press Offensive Dream Team honors after rushing for 1,699 yards and 24 TDs, also registering 84 tackles with eight interceptions. Father, Mark Ingram Sr., played wide receiver for Michigan State before being drafted by the New York Giants 28th overall in 1987 and played 10 seasons with the Giants, Miami, Green Bay and Philadelphia, including a Super Bowl XXV win. Founded the Mark Ingram Foundation, which provides support to the children of incarcerated parents, hosting annual Christmas shopping sprees for them, the most recent at Academy Sports and Outdoor the last three holiday seasons. Part of a group of NFL players that donated supplies to residents of Flints during the city's 2016 water crisis. Participated in Thomas Morstead's celebrity server event in 2016. For the past two years has participated in the Zurich Classic Celebrity Shootout event to raise money and awareness for his foundation. In the offseason, conducted several interviews with English media in a trip to London to promote the team's Oct. 1 game vs. Miami at Wembley Stadium. Born Dec. 21, 1989 in Hackensack, N.J.
