No weapons, no magic, and -- technically -- no princesses. But this rap battle between Hermione Granger of "Harry Potter" and Katniss Everdeen of "The Hunger Games" is one for the books.
Whitney Avalon does a series of Princess Rap Battles, and even though neither Hermione nor Katniss is a princess, they are royally badass in this video. Avalon takes on the role of Katniss, opposite "Castle" star Molly C. Quinn as Hermione.
Here's a portion of Katniss's opening takedown:
Pathetic and predictable I'm hot on your trail/Could've had a Viktor but you chose ginger fail?/I bet with wands drawn he's still just a yawn with performances worse than Michael Gambon."
Burn
Here's a small part of Hermione's response:
I'll end this blasted skrewt propaganda prostitute who thinks she's so cute with her Girl Scout salute/Just a tribute, can't decide which guy's sweeter/Share your bread with...

We all know who Katniss Everdeen is, and we also know who Hermione Granger is. But we can hardly imagine what will happen when the hot temper of Ms. Everdeen faces the intelligence of Ms. Granger. Two worlds, that of The Hunger Games and that of Harry Potter, clash in a battle deprived of any weapons and magic.
The video is part of the Princess Rap Battle series created by Whitney Avalon. In the clip, she plays Katniss, while Molly C. Quinn stars as Hermione.
See what happens when there are no bows, no arrows, no wands — only rapping.

The "girl on fire" knows how to spit hot fire! Hunger Games' heroine Katniss Everdeen (played by comedian Whitney Avalon) and Harry Potter's Hermione Granger (played by actress Molly C. Quinn) are facing off in an epic edition of Princess Rap Battles. The hilarious YouTube series, created by Avalon, features iconic characters taking each other on with sick rhymes and lots of sass. This time it's a "book-babe brawl" of two literary ladies who are not holding back when it comes to roasting each other. Katniss lays into Hermione, claiming she's "just a sidekick," and brings her Muggle parents into the mix. However, Hermione gets even more personal,...

Clearly I am not the only rapping princess in our house #PrincessRapBattle #PrincessRapBattleJunior #Aladdin #FunkyDiva A video posted by Sarah Michelle (@sarahmgellar) on Jul 20, 2015 at 7:36pm Pdt There are two rapping princesses in the Gellar-Prinze household! Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Instagram on Monday to share a super cute (and extremely rare) video of her daughter with hubby Freddie Prinze Jr., Charlotte. In the clip, the brunette cutie looks like a mini version of "Aladdin's" Princess Jasmine as she busts one adorable rhyme from the "Princess Rap Battle" web series. Charlotte's famous mama showed off her fairy tale hip-hop skills earlier this year when she made her YouTube debut as Cinderella. The "Buffy" alum appeared in the fourth edition of "Princess Rap Battle," complete with a poofy blue ball gown, tiara and long blonde wig. The actress faced-off against creator Whitney Avalon, who was dressed as Belle in her signature golden-yellow dress.

After it was announced yesterday that Josh Gad would return to voice the snowman Olaf in Disney's yet-to-be-dated Frozen 2, the Mouse House and Gad have reached another deal as the Broadway star will join the cast of Disney's live action Beauty and the Beast adaptation as Le Fou, the goofy sidekick to the villainous Gaston, to be played by Luke Evans. If you think about it, the casting makes sense, though The Wrap does caution it's not yet a done deal. Along with Evans, Gad would join Emma Watson as the titular beauty and Dan Stevens as the Beast for director Bill Condon (Dreamgirls). Disney has not yet set a release date for the feature, though it is expected to hit theaters in 2016. Meanwhile, if you're up for a laugh enjoy Sarah Michelle Gellar as Cinderella and Whitney Avalon as Belle in this rather comical "Cinderella vs. Belle" rap battle.

Disney is gearing up for the release of “Cinderella” this week, and Sarah Michelle Gellar donned the iconic blue Victorian dress and showed off her lyrical prowess in a new YouTube video.
The “Cruel Intentions” star went up against viral video sensation Whitney Avalon, who played “Beauty and the Beast” character Belle, declaring, “Another princess in my shadow come to covet my crown. You clowns wanna throw down with the best in a gown? These girls are trippin' did they cut off their toes? I deserve all the praise for the foot-fetish craze. I've got itty-bitty kicks but legs for days.”
However, Whitney fired back, “Your tale as old as time sets us back fifty years. Do your chores, clean the floors 'til a man just appears? You're shallow and obsessed with looks and how you're dressed. You wanna live like Gaston? Please be our guest.”...

It's Cinderella vs. Belle -- who you got? Sarah Michelle Gellar teamed up with Whitney Avalon to go head-to-head in a rap battle! But this wasn't just any old war of words, as the two ladies showed off their rhyming skills while dressed up as the beloved Disney princesses. The "Buffy" alum played Cinderella in the fourth edition of "Princess Rap Battle," complete with a poofy blue ball gown, tiara and long blonde wig. Whitney dressed as Belle in her signature golden-yellow dress. The best part? Each of them had their own Princess backup singers. Belle was flanked by Pocahontas and Little Red Riding Hood while Cinderella had Goldilocks and Buttercup in her corner. Cinderella starts off by telling Belle that she's basically a "hater." "Of course you’re bitter, I’m the number one star. Pumpkin carriage, perfect marriage, no one cares who you are," Sarah rapped. While Belle,...

Warning: This video includes language that is Nsfw. Just when you thought you've seen every Frozen parody imaginable, comediennes Whitney Avalon and Katja Glieson wage a rap battle between Disney's first princess and their latest. Snow White's eponymous pale princess sneers at Frozen's Elsa, mocking her messy hair and interior design skills. But can she withstand what happens when Elsa lets it go with f-bombs and powers of ice and snow? There's a lot to admire in this clever parody that pulls influence from the viral webseries Epic Rap Battles. First off, props to Avalon who nails Snow White's high-pitched voice while laying down cutting rhymes "like a boss." But you can't beat the contemporary swag of Glieson's enraged ice queen. She's rocking that floppy, sloppy ponytail (no matter what Snow says) and she's not only got supernatural powers, but that belter's bravado. Playing back-up/hype(wo)men to these...
