Instead the new episode 6 will air next Tuesday night, November 5, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on CBS of course. Only One Broadcast Show Grew Ratings From Premiere Week to Week 2

Only one Big 4 broadcast series actually grew its TV ratings from the first week of the 2019-20 television season to the second. Congratulations to CBS drama “FBI” — at least one branch of the federal government is actually improving these days.

Counting a week of delayed viewing, the CBS procedural grew from a 1.56 premiere-week rating in the important adults 18-49 demographic to a 1.58 on the following Tuesday night, according to Nielsen. That represents an enormous increase of — wait for it — 1.2821%.

Hey, up is up when talking about TV ratings in 2019.

‘FBI’: John Boyd Promoted To Series Regular On CBS Drama
John Boyd has been upped to a series regular on FBI for the CBS drama’s current second season. His first episode as a series regular will air on October 22.

Boyd plays Agent Stuart Scola, a silver-tongued, fast-talking, quick-witted former Wall Streeter-turned-fbi agent. He’s a Reddit-exploring Ivy Leaguer whose do-gooder sensibilities belie his born-and-bred New York cynicism.

As Deadline exclusively reported, Bones alum Boyd in August was tapped for a recurring role on FBI,now playing Agent Stuart Scola. He was set to appear in three episodes, with an option to become a series regular. That option has been exercised.

FBI is a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Boyd will be joining series regulars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Ebonée Noel and Alana De La Garza.

‘FBI’: John Boyd To Recur With Option In CBS Drama Series

Exclusive: Bones alum John Boyd is set for recurring role on the upcoming second season of Dick Wolf’s CBS drama series FBI. Boyd will play Agent Stuart Scola. He’s handsome, smart and irreverent and had a prior relationship with Jubal (Jeremy Sisto). Boyd is set to appear in three episodes, with an option to become a series regular.

FBI is a fast-paced drama about the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. In addition to Sisto, it stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki and Ebonée Noel.

Alana de la Garza Moves From ‘FBI: Most Wanted’ To ‘FBI’, Will Continue To Recur On Spinoff Series For CBS
Exclusive: Alana de la Garza, co-star of CBS’ upcoming midseason drama FBI: Most Wanted, is joining the mothership, FBI, as a series regular, reprising her role as Assistant Special Agent in Charge Isobel Castile. She also will continue to play the character on offshoot FBI: Most Wanted as a recurring guest star.

On FBI, which returns for a second season in the fall, de la Garza will fill the void left by the departure of Sela Ward, who had a one-year deal for the series. Ward played Special Agent in Charge Dana Mosier, who submitted her resignation in the Season 1 finale. Dick Wolf Plots Cross-Network Crossover Between CBS, NBC
Veteran television producer Dick Wolf, best known for creating the “Law & Order” franchise, is eyeing a cross-network crossover between his CBS freshman procedural “FBI” or its in-the-works spinoff “FBI: Most Wanted” and one of his NBC shows, such as “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” or “Chicago P.D.

The decision whether to go with “FBI” or its spinoff, and which NBC show to partner with “depends on which story wins,” he told Variety at the Monte Carlo TV Festival on Saturday.

Wolf said the cross-network crossover was his idea, and both CBS and NBC are open to it, although it has yet to be confirmed. “CBS and NBC both want to do it – whether they can figure it out is above my pay grade,” he said.

The crossover would be quite natural given the FBI’s real-life collaborations with different law enforcement agencies. Wolf gave one example. “Svu deals
