Another week, another episode of Aew: Dark which this week features thirteen(!) matches which -like last week – immediately fills me with dread… Anyway, on with the review.
Match #1: Matt Sydal def. Slim J
My Thoughts: So we’re getting Matt Sydal back with Top Flight And adding Ar Fox to the mix as well? That would certainly seem the case after the end of this match. I hope this “feud” with the Trustbusters doesn’t drag out too long. Mainly because Trustbusters are a waste of time Imho. Still, you have to appreciate how good this match was!
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #2: Julia Hart def. Devlyn Macabre
My Thoughts: Evil Julia Hart does bad things… In a squash match once again., which will come as no surprise to anyone – especially given the House of Black’s dominance in Aew.
My Score: 1 out of 5 Match #3: The Workhorsemen def.

Another episode of Aew: Dark, which this week is back being taped at Aew Universal. Let’s join Taz and Excalibur, commentators for Dark as usual, and see what this week’s Nine matches have in store… The match count keeps getting higher!
Match #1: Max Caster def. Trever Aeon
My Thoughts: Trever Aeon certainly has a striking look, however he didn’t have the striking ability to beat Max Caster who took the fight to Aeon in a typical Aew quasi-squash match!
My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: Serpentico def. Vary Morales
My Thoughts: Serpentico wrestling in another singles match without Luther? Joy! Here he takes on the ever-reliable Vary Morales, who’s always impressed in his Aew appearances. And that’s the case here too, as Morales goes toe-to-toe with Serpentico in a fantastic, fast-paced match between two evenly-matched competitors.
My Score: 3 out of 5 Match #3: Kris Statlander def.

Welcome to this week’s review of Aew: Dark which comes from Aew Universal and features 9 matches this week. Well, nine from Universal… we do have a tenth match but it seems to have been filmed during a Rampage taping away from Aew Universal (was it cut from a previous episode?). Once again we’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary… Let’s get into the review!
Match #1: Max Caster def. Tyler Uriah
My Thoughts: Tyler Uriah (what a name) makes his Aew debut in a singles match against Max Caster, who’s at Aew Universal sans Anthony Bowens. Shocker! Caster even had to get an audience member to do Bowens’ part of the Acclaimed’s intro! I was expecting a squash match but Uriah actually delivered some decent offence before Caster got the pin, plus this got more time than the usual Aew squash.
My Score: 2.5 out of 5 Match #2: Marina Shafir def.
