Iskra Bozhinova was born on January 21, 1941 in Hayredin, Vratza, Bulgaria. The brightly individual, talented, skilled and wise film critic, she selflessly served Bulgarian Film Arts, asserting aesthetic, moral and civic principles. In dozens their articles and reviews in her work as an editor at the magazine "Movie News", as an editor in Studios for Debut and Experimental films in Boyana Film Studios, as a teacher in Blagoevgrad South West University, as a participant in creative discussions and artistic commissions she sparkled with her high intelligence, knowledge, with her charming ability to inspire love for spiritual values, to everything that makes our life meaningful. Her husband was the great Bulgarian film director Juliy Stoyanov. She died on August 9, 2016 in Sofia, Bulgaria.
