Lori Chism
- Actress
Lori Chism began acting at an early age, and upon graduating from high
school in 1999, she was recommended by fellow actor and friend Mark Shubert
to director Heath McKnight as a candidate for the character Skye in Heath's
first feature, "Skye Falling," credited as Lori Ann Chism. Heath
immediately hired her and production started in June 1999. They wrapped
75 days later as Lori began college in Boca Raton, Florida. After her
first year, she moved to L.A. to pursue her career as an actress. In
2001, she returned to Florida for the "Skye Falling" premiere, then
headed back to L.A. After the strike threats went away, there were many
actors and crew, and not a lot of jobs in films or TV shows. So, she
moved to Miami, Florida, where she has found success in numerous TV
shows, plays and films, including a bit part as a twin in Heath's
Push/Pull (2003). She currently appears in many plays in South Florida, and also
returns her knowledge of acting by helping to teach others. She is in
New York City, pursuing her acting career.
