2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the release of the first Sharknado, and so far celebrations have included a screening on legendary movie host Joe Bob Briggs’ Shudder series The Last Drive-In and an all-day Sharknado franchise marathon on Syfy. If that wasn’t enough, The Asylum has now announced that they’ll be giving the movie a two-day theatrical re-release on August 15th and 16th! A new, Barbie-inspired poster has been created to promote this theatrical re-release, and you can check it out at the bottom of this article. The Hollywood Reporter got the exclusive first look at the poster.
Sharknado has been “fully remastered with hundreds of new special effects” for this event. The trailer for the re-release, which you can watch in the embed above, promises this version of the movie will deliver new kills, new thrills, more sharks, and more ‘nado.

Written by Matthew D. Ward who co-directs with Justyn Ah Chong, American Killing is the feature debut for the both of them. A thriller with elements of horror and drama, this is something both unique, startlingly dark and very interesting indeed. A movie that took me entirely by surprise, and here’s the why’s, what’s and where’s.
The plot itself follows Jeb, whose cartoon program is in danger of being cancelled by the network. Unrecognised nor complimented for his tireless work ethic, Jeb knows that in order to keep his job he needs to go to drastic places. Jeb, along with a team of writers is sent to a house in...

Reunion, Bert Havird’s shock-a-minute psychological horror-thriller, is excited to announce that it has completed casting!
Helmed by Shawn Chou, the feature, which plays on themes of love, loss, abandonment and revenge, will wrap in mid-April and plans are afoot to have a rough cut ready to wow distributors by mid-May. Shooting in Topanga, Malibu and Anaheim, Reunion already boasts the talents of Jack Turner, Sarah Schreiber, Reign Morton, Cara Santana and Maria Olsen, but this week is all about the film’s new stars!
Not one, but two amazing young actors have been cast to play the younger versions of Jack Turner’s Brad – our troubled leading man – and these boys, of whom we will, no doubt, be seeing a Lot in future, are Lucas Barker and William Leon.
8-year-old Barker’s intensity packs a simply phenomenal punch, and he is best known for his appearances in the chilling...
