Sajumon R.D. is a rising Colorist in the Indian film industry and was born on May 6th in Trivandrum, Kerala. He obtained his Masters in PGDM and began his career at the prestigious advertising agency Ogilvy.
Fueled by his passion for editing, he decided to enroll in a film school to further enhance his skills in film editing. Sajumon has worked on several short films such as "Thenmozhi (2019)" and "Hoori (2019)". Additionally, he has also contributed to documentaries like "Artists in Jewstreet (2020)" and "Needle Art (2020)".
Focused on establishing himself as a "Colorist", particularly in Mollywood (Malayalam cinema), Sajumon made his feature film debut with the 2021 box office success "Jan.e.man."
2022 marked a breakout year for him, with credits on blockbuster Malayalam films like "CBI 5: The Brain," "Puzhu," "Meri Awaas Suno," and "Chathuram." He has also expanded his horizons, collaborating with filmmakers in Tollywood and Bollywood on projects like "120 db Dhwani" (2022) and "Mumbaikar" (2023).
Sajumon continues to push boundaries. In 2023, he independently color-graded his first feature film, "Vanitha". The success continued in 2024 with the release of the Malayalam film "Qalb (2024)". Currently, he is working on several upcoming films.
