Kamaile Tripp

Kamaile (Native Hawaiian) is known for her breakout role in 30 Meeting/30 Days written and directed by Duane Andersen. A role created just for her, she portrays Glynis, a recovering alcoholic and sponsor of the main character Alicia, played by Emily Goss. In her full-time role, Kamaile is a Health Equity Consultant and Community Health Worker for the University of Utah in the Division of Public Health. She is also the Producer and co-host of the Island Wave Podcast. Kamaile has moderated film panel interviews for the Utah Pacific Island Film Series, Salt Lake Film Society and Sundance Institute. During the Sundance Film Festival, she is the Theater Manager for the Grand Theater in Salt Lake City.
