LONDON -- The BBC said Thursday that it plans to shoot a 3,000-foot beam, called a light sculpture, into the night sky over London as a memorial to journalists who have lost their lives while working. Titled "Breathing", the light sculpture is by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa and will be a permanent feature on the fifth-floor roof of Broadcasting House, the BBC's city-center landmark that is being renovated by architect Richard MacCormack.
