Marco's first piece of short fiction was published in the 2021 horror anthology Rock & Roll Nightmares: 60s Edition (SLW Books). His story "Hell-A Woman" is about a washed-up rock journalist in 1969 who accidentally uncovers the supernatural origin of the 27 Club curse. The protagonist is loosely based on infamous music critic Lester Bangs and interweaves historical details with a dark imaginative twist.

Marco released his first novella in April of 2022 entitled "The Haunting of Nicolas Cage," described as a genre-bending account of the movie star's time at the infamous LaLaurie Mansion. Set in 2009 New Orleans, the tale includes a number of bizarre-but-true elements from Cage's personal life and weaves them into a supernatural narrative based on the property's macabre history.
