Chicago – It’s 2023 for the Midwest Film Festival. The Chicago institution – the only ongoing monthly film fest in the city – has their Opening night on Monday, January 30th, 2023, with a screening of the 2022 “Best of the Midwest” short films.
Six Shorts are in the program, top honorees at the BMA Awards … “La Folie” (directed by Danielle Batson), “Repeater” (Carbon Creative Studio), “Rough River Lake” (Mary Tilden), “Heartsong” (Aurora Real de Asua), “Period Drama” (Anushka Tina Nair and Lauryn Anthony) and “Fish Eye” (Colin Parker).
