Maggie MacPherson is a Canadian Cinematographer, Camera Operator and
2nd Assistant Camera.
Her DP work for the human rights project "Living Rights" has garnered the project a "Best Single Camera Production" at the 35th Annual TARA Awards, a Human Rights Award from "Youth for Human Rights International" as well as a mention in the renowned Canadian film, broadcasting and interactive media website and magazine Playbackonline.ca.
In 2013, Maggie interned as a Camera Operator and Editor for the CBC Television and Radio show, "Q with Jian Ghomeshi". That same year, Maggie shadowed the camera department of Atom Egoyan's film "The Queen of the Night" and interned for Egoyan for this and his previous project, "Devil's Knot".
Maggie moved from Toronto in the Summer of 2013 to pursue further film and television projects in Vancouver B.C where she works as a freelance Cinematographer, Camera Operator, and 2nd Assistant Camera
