Harsha Prabhakar Rao is a self-taught filmmaker. In a career spanning 15 years, he has directed over a 100 commercials in different genres across India, Singapore, UK and USA. His films have more than 390 million views and have won multiple Effie Awards and the 'Jack Daniel Music Video of the Year'.
While his keen observation and insight-driven approach helped him learn filmmaking on his own, he went on to earn a diploma in screenwriting from the prestigious film school at USC, Los Angeles.
After having directed commercials for global brands like Spotify, IKEA, Nestle, Unilever and many more, his first feature film was greenlit on the sidelines of TIFF 2019.
