Daequan Earl Winbush, also known by his stage name BigxFrankie, is a American screenwriter, director, and rapper. Born in the Four Corners/Geneva Ave neighborhood of Dorchester, MA. But when was around 2 or 3, his Mother moved him to Manchester, NH, into the Elm Wood Projects, where he grew up. Everyone around Daequan, knew he was something special at a young age. From mumbling words together at 5 years old. To dancing for his Mother, Aunts & Cousins at 8 years old. A lot of his inspiration came from his late uncle, Comilus Pope.
Daequan was born in the neighborhood of Four Corners/Geneva Ave of Dorchester, MA by his mother Crystal. Crystal raised Daequan on her own. His father Bradley, in 1999 was arrested and later sentenced to 22- to 44-years for a Manchester crime spree that included home invasions and the sexual assault of a woman whose children were asleep in the next room.
He began basketball at the age of 11, at Parkside Junior Highschool. Daequan wasn't that good at basketball, he was lanky, clumsy and tall. At age of 11, Daequan was 5 foot and 11 inches. He was so big, he had to wear a extra small jersey and shorts, because they didn't have his size. At age 13, he began football, for a city team, The Manchester Raiders. Still lanky and clumsy but he did grow 2 inches. Daequan was forced to play for the midgets, the highest level of city football. In Junior High, playing with high school players.
At age 15, Daequan played for the Manchester West High Knights, Basketball & Football team at West High School. But injuries and bad grades cut his high school sports dreams short.
He found out he was having his first child at 16 with his childs mother, Jayla. So he dropped out of high school and got a job at Taco bell.
Daequan first started off writing poems, and then turned to lyrics. He didn't care about us the most expensive equipment. In fact he use to record himself rapping on his mothers webcam and then posted it on YouTube. In early 2023, he recorded his "debut" album King Raj, in his Livingroom.
Daequan had a goal to get his G.E.D & then go to Full Send University for Film. Becoming homeless derailed that goal. But that didn't stop Daequan. Instead of going to school for film. He studied everything about it. From the dos and don'ts. In 2021, Daequan created a video production company "A Frankie Production". Where he started off interviewing interesting individuals on " The Frankie Show But after 8 months, he called it quits and picked up a camera. Late November, He uploaded the first music video he directed. "Loko the D3mon - Game Over" He was also the man behind the camera. & Has never put the camera down since. He recent create a film production "Titan Cinematic Studios" Mainly focused on his Comic "Titan Universe". Where "A Frankie Production" is mainly focused on Music Videos, and (Horror, Action, Thrillers & Family) Movies.
Daequan recently finished the screenplay to his upcoming movie "Terror Don't Sleep" & is currently being pitched. The book version will be available on Halloween Day. "Malaysia Stone, Julianna's World" Are in development.
