Back in 2006-2007 Ohio Valley Wrestling was the developmental territory for World Wrestling Entertainment. They had a plethora of great talent that unfortunately never got called up to the big leagues. Why? I don’t know. They seemed to posses a lot of attributes that the WWE looks for. Some of these men actually got called up and were used very disappointingly.
I always wonder what happens with the developmental territories the WWE has had over the past few years. Why do they call up certain people when it is clear that there are better wrestlers than them? Why call up people if you just plan to not use them. Take for instance Eric Escobar. He had been employed by the WWE since 2005 and they finally called him up in 2009. He was on TV for maybe two-three months? And then they fired him.
