A.L. Mengel
Award-Winning Author A.L. Mengel has created the characters and worlds of the Supernatural Thriller book series "The Tales of Tartarus", and its spin-off "The Astral Files"; additionally, he wrote the Science Fiction book series "The Vega Chronicles". His also is the writer of the yet to be produced screenplay "The Mortician", which is an adaptation of the novel of the same name from "The Astral Files". He also creates, films, and produces the video blogs "The Aura of the Soul", "#Haunted", and #TheEraOf", all of which he films, edits, scores and produces on his Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
At his core, he is an author of critically acclaimed Supernatural Fiction, Science Fiction, and Paranormal Fiction. He also has published two creative self-help books; one which covers creating, another which covers marketing. In 2013, A.L. Mengel's debut novel "Ashes" was published by Parchman's Press. To date, "The Mortician", a Supernatural/Paranormal suspense novel, is his most widely read novel, available worldwide in all formats. His most recent novel, "Mona Lisa, Becoming a Ghost", won the highly competitive Supernatural Fiction category in 2022 at the International Book Awards by Readers' Favorite in Miami, winning the Gold Medal.
