Lauren's only feature-length acting role was as the geeky love
interest, Jennifer, in the 2003 movie "Disc." This spoof buddy comedy
feature Lauren as the dorky best friend who magically turns hot at the
end when she takes off her glasses, thus winning the heart of the lead
character.
Lauren was born on June 28, 1981 in Pawtucket, RI. Her first film work was in a commercial for her college, Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She also acted in a student project screen adaptation of David Mamet's "The Shawl".
Since college Lauren served five years in the Air Force, followed by two years of civil service and contractor work. She now is a stay at home mom to her two children. She has been married to her husband, Nick Wasinger, since June 6 2009.
Lauren has dabbled in modeling and art, as well as in acting.
