- In 1968 he represented Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest with Det börjar verka kärlek, banne mej ("It's Beginning To Look Like Love, I'll Be Damned", English version named "My time has come") placing 5th. The song subsequently topped Swedish top 20 charts and today it is still his most recognised song.
- In 2020, he performed his superhit together with other hit icons in a Melodifestivalen interlude. In an interview with Newsner that same year, he said of the song: - I'm still making money from the song, which is absolutely incredible. Everyone has memories of this song. For a while I thought it was a bit annoying. When I perform, it's about two minutes, and it's pretty easy.
