- Myla Leigh Chenoa was born on January 1, 1979 and adopted at three months old in Phoenix, Arizona. She started acting at age fourteen in a stage production of "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe". A role that had her portraying a cockney accent in the role of Mr. Beaver in which she also sang and danced. Myla began to blossom at that time into a beautiful young girl which landed her quite a bit of modeling work. Though known for her beauty, body and natural acting talent, few know of her independent film work in which her versatility and talent shine playing characters such as "Mary Esther Hall", who goes from 'plain jane' to terrifying in appearance as an insane girl pushed over the edge in "Sanity", an experimental short that was almost complete improv and one take only. Or as an almost plastic appearing reporter trying to keep her cool as she's called in at the last minute to report gruesome murders in "A Shadow in the Woods". Myla is starting to get notice for her natural ability beyond her looks for her seemingly never ending supply of talent from singing and dancing to her amazing raw improvisational skills that bring depth to every character she plays. "Give me a character and I will become them." she has been quoted as saying when asked about her multitude of roles she's played. She's been compared to Angelina Jolie for her beauty and talent, don't be surprised if you see her name in a blockbuster film soon.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Rob Paulson
