- Mindy Carson was born on July 16, 1927 in Bronx, New York. She is an actress, known for The United States Steel Hour (1953), Armstrong Circle Theatre (1950) and Ford Star Revue (1950).
- Blue-eyed American vocalist (with Paul Whiteman and Johnny Messner), much heard on radio during the 1940s and 50s. She had her own variety show on the CBS Network in 1949. That same year, she became the youngest performer to receive top billing at New York City's Copacabana nightclub and also signed a recording contract with RCA Victor. In 1952, she launched the Mindy Carson Show, sponsored by Embassy cigarettes.
- After graduation, she took a position as typist and stenographer and worked at a candy company.
