The footage introduces Goldblum as the “cruel” and “occasionally benevolent” Zeus, who has “no idea that the plot to take him down has begun.”

Disney Plus has finally revealed the first look and trailer of its highly anticipated original series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians, based on the best-selling novels by Rick Riordan. The series will debut on the streaming platform on December 20, 2023, with a two-episode premiere.
The series follows the adventures of Percy Jackson, a 12-year-old boy who discovers that he is a demigod, the son of Poseidon, the Greek god of the sea. Along with his friends Annabeth Chase, a daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr, he embarks on a quest to find Zeus’ lightning bolt and prevent a war among the gods.
