Robert Peter Parker

Robert Peter Parker first came into the world in Birmingham, England, in the early 70's.
He made his stage debut in a school production of Arthur Miller's "The Crucible", playing Parris.
More roles follows soon after in amateur productions of "Guys & Dolls", "One Way Pendulum" and "Oh, What a Lovely War!".
He chose to study Astrophysics at the University of Sussex, while also performing at the Gardner Arts Centre in Brighton in productions of "Measure for Measure" and "Under Milk Wood".
Returning to Birmingham, he successfully auditioned for a place at the Birmingham School for Speech & Drama, though was unable to attend.
He continued on the amateur stage in England through various performing arts groups from 1994 to 2002 including Hall Green Little Theatre, Union Theatre Solihull, and finally the Birmingham Crescent Theatre performing in "A woman of no importance", "When did you last see your trousers ?" and as Mercutio in "Romeo and Juliet".
He emigrated to Italy in 2002 and performed with The English Theatre of Rome in several productions including "Picasso at the Lapin Agile" as Einstein.
He married in 2004 and had 2 children, which halted his acting on stage for some years.
Later, in 2010, he made a brief appearance on the Italian Talent Show "La Corrida" singing "It had to be you".
In 2017 he returned to the stage appearing in "A Midsummer Night's Dream" as Bottom with La Compagnia del Sogno. Then he joined The Rome Savoyards and played parts in "The Rivals", "Play on!", "Charley's Aunt" and "Round and Round the Garden".
