It's sex against religion this week at the box office. Sunny Leone whose journey into Bollywood is now the fodder for an international documentary would be seen playing the title role in Ek Paheli Leela this week. While her film has the oomph factor, she has performing stalwarts like Naseeruddin Shah, Paresh Rawal and Anu Kapoor to contend with. The heavyweight trio gets all set this Friday for Dharam Sankat Mein, an Indian version of Josh Appiganesi's The Infidel, based on the touchy topic of religious conversion. Considering how successful Raj Kumar Hirani was at taking potshots at organized religion, Dharam Sankat Mein is expected to tickle plenty of funny bones this Friday. On the other hand, Ms. Leone aims to tickle more than just the funny bone. This is the phase of the female hero. Kangna Ranaut in Queen and Anushka Sharma in NH10 have dazzled audiences while taking cent restage.

It is arguable that Suddhir Mishra’s Inkaar may not have scope for music, but over the years situational tracks for non-musical features have proven to be musically appealing, the likes of Shor in the City and Shanghai being proof of it. Therefore, Inkaar cannot be readily dismissed.
The musical-lyrical duo of Shantanu Moitra and Swanand Kirkire (3 Idiots, Parineeta and Munna Bhai series) are at the helm of Inkaar. The soundtrack compromises of five tracks and features the musical talents of Suraj Jaggan (‘Sadka Kiya’ – I Hate Luv Storys and ‘Afatoon Ke Parindey’ – Ishaqzaade), Swanadand Kirkire amongst others.
The album commences with Darmiyaan, a pseudo-sufi sung by Swanand Kirikire. Its beginning suggests a sufi/rock fusion and therefore once anticipates a promising start to the album but ‘Darmiyaan’ falters. Lyrically, the track is sound but vocally and musically it favours the unremarkable. Kirikire’s performance, arguably intended to be raw...

Movies designed to defy rules of cinema and entertain to an utmost ridiculous level. Time to throw out the logic and judge the film based solely on its entertainment value. Read on to find out!
Himesh Reshammiya writes for debutant Ashish R Mohan, a protégé of Rohit Shetty, and has churned out a masala comedy/action entertainer. Bahattar Singh (Akshay Kumar) is a hired fake cop for Punjab Police who despite being his dashing self is an absolute non-eligible bachelor courtesy of his profession.
