These terrible parents were arrested after police found their baby boys lying on the floor, unable to move! Kaitlynn Paige Turner, 21, and Michael Anthony Turner, 24, have been charged with child abuse after deputies discovered a shocking sight — their twin boys tied up, according to The Daily Mail! The police officers were at the home to serve an arrest warrant, when they noticed one boy face down with his hands tied behind his back and the other on his back with his legs tied together. An unharmed 2-year-old was also at the Florida home, and all three kids are now in care of child services. One of the twins was taken to the hospital for a checkup, and police say both twins had "numerous bruises." Kaitlynn's mother, Kristie Power, says she had no idea what was going on and expressed concern for her grandsons. "I don't know what else to say,...

Sometimes you just never know. You're keeping your head down, working hard, trying to make everything that you work on solid, and before you know it, your ass lands in court. Such is the case with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman.
According to THR, Kirkman has been sued by a childhood friend and collaborator who claims he is entitled to as much as half of the proceeds from the lucrative Walking Dead franchise.
Michael Anthony ("Tony") Moore, a fellow comic book artist, filed suit Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court. In the complaint, a copy of which was obtained by THR, Moore says he was duped into assigning his interest in the material over to Kirkman, who has since gone on to fame and fortune. Moore, on the other hand, has received very little compensation and has not be able to access profit statements from properties including The Walking Dead,...

The ‘will they, won’t they’ saga revolving around their reunion and who would be in it could fill entire novels. After 1999’s poorly received Van Halen III, their only album with Gary Cherone on vocals, the band went on hiatus. Four years later, the band reunited with Sammy Hagar for the first time since 1996, after he left due to the band secretly recording with David Lee Roth. After a two year reunion tour, Eddie decided he didn’t want to continue with Hagar, and instead contacted Roth for a second reunion. Hagar said at the time that he was done with the band, but then changed his mind and has since expressed interest in returning. In spite of this, the line up of Roth, the Van Halen brothers of Eddie and Alex, and new bassist Wolfgang Van Halen (Eddie’s son, replacing Michael Anthony who...

HollywoodNews.com: Paul McCartney‘s wonderful “Kisses on the Bottom” is not the only Beatles-eque CD of the day. Roberta Flack is delivering her long-awaited “Let it Be Roberta,” a stunning reimagining of Beatles songs like “We Can Work it Out,” “In My Life,” “Come Together,” George Harrison’s “Isn’t it a Pity,” and –shockingly–a three minute version of “Hey Jude.” On the latter, Roberta simply turns the main song into an acoustic rendering and drops the long “na-na” section. Her versions of “Let it Be” and “The Long and Winding Road” are terrific, too. Go straight to amazon or ITunes right now for these CDs. Then of course Van Halen has “A Different Kind of Truth” with David Lee Roth returning as lead singer and Wolfgang Van Halen replacing Michael Anthony as bassist. There are also two more contemporary releases: from the Fray, and...

Chickenfoot, the rock outfit composed of Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony, Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and gunslinger Joe Satriani, will release its second album Sept. 27. The eOne Music release is called “Chickenfoot Iiii,” because, according to Hagar, the band is so awesome, it just advanced right past number 2. Is that like getting to skip a grade when you’re in elementary school? It also begs the question of can you have sophomore slump if you pretend it’s not your second album? Anyway, in what may be one of the most awesome quotes we’ve ever reprinted, Hagar...

The MasterChef finals are firing up as the three exceptional finalists face their penultimate challenge: cooking for some of the world’s greatest chefs.
The pressure is on as the amateurs arrive in the eating-out capital of the world, New York. With just 24 hours in the city they must prove they can cook with the best. Judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace send them to three of New York’s finest restaurants: Gramercy Tavern, one of the city’s most popular, long-standing dining institutions run by executive chef Michael Anthony; Picholine, a two-starred establishment under chef patron and master of Mediterranean cuisine, Terrance Brennan; and wd-50, a cutting-edge restaurant on the Lower East Side run by maverick chef Wylie Dufresne. The three amateurs have to dig deep and show true grit if they are to survive lunch service and master dishes at this high level.

February 2009 began on a sad note for many vampire lovers and horror fans with the death of iconic genre legend Robert Quarry. If there was one actor capable of equalling Christopher Lee’s immortal performance as Dracula it was Quarry as the evil Count Yorga. A veteran of stage and TV, Quarry was set to become a major horror star of the seventies, but his film career faded rapidly, a situation not helped by a terrible run of bad luck that nearly cost him his life. Despite never achieving the movie stardom he deserved, his enigmatic turn as the sardonic vampire lord has given him cult immortality.
The son of a doctor, Robert Walter Quarry was born in Fresno, California on 3 November 1925. He spent his early years in Santa Rosa, Northern California, where he excelled in most high school sports, especially swimming. Quarry, who had an Iq of 168, became interested in acting through his grandmother,...

A new short film by Jonathan Moody was released via it's Facebook page at midnight last night and I thought I'd share it with y'all. Good job with a one on one cast and just in time for Halloween!
Bashed... "In the woods no one can hear you Die"... Bashed is a grindhouse type short filmed in Williamsburg, Va by filmmaker Jonathan A. Moody for his anthology series "Trick or Eat". It stars DaNae West (The Gritters, ZombThology) and Russ A. Bryan (Psychopath, Paranormal) as two office workers spending sometime alone together with some secrets to tell. Who would have guessed it was going to be their last?
DaNae, Russ, and Jonathan had all worked together in another short film in Northern Virginia with filmmakers Robert Elkins and Victor Michael Anthony Nash. The short film was "Nightmare at Bunnyman Bridge" which played at this years Fright Night Film Festival.

The 2010 MTV Video Music Awards are only a few weeks away. The biggest party of the year features nominated clips by Lady Gaga, Eminem, Jay-z, Ke$ha and Katy Perry and will feature performances by Kanye West, Eminem, Drake, Justin Bieber, Paramore, Usher, B.o.B, Florence and the Machine and Linkin Park. In order to properly prepare yourself for what's to come, every day the MTV Newsroom Blog will deliver a classic moment in the history of the MTV Video Music Awards. Today's installment: Van Halen run with the devil again.
The 1996 MTV Video Music Awards had plenty of winners. Smashing Pumpkins took home a number of prizes (including Video of the Year) for their poetic clip for "Tonight, Tonight," Alanis Morissette scored a trio of Moonmen for "Ironic," Coolio notched a few wins and Bush were declared Viewer's Choice. Theoretically, Van Halen should have been one of the night's biggest winners.

Van Halen -- with classic vocalist David Lee Roth -- came back together for some limited tour dates back in 2008 and it's becoming clearer now that the band didn't want the reunion to stop there. In a statement, the hard rock band's publishing company Warner Chappell announced that Van Halen extended its longstanding deal, and that the band was back in the studio with Roth for an album "that is due for release in 2011." The press release did not specify if founding bassist Michael Anthony was returning for the album; Anthony was replaced by Eddie Van Halen's young son...

It seems like you can't throw a stone without hitting some kind of supergroup lately. The likes of Chickenfoot (Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, guitar virtuoso Joe Satriani and former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony) and the planned Trent Reznor/Gary Numan collaboration have brought together like-minded artists from disparate backgrounds and so far produced some interesting results. The latest marriage of rock royalty sees Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke joining forces with Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, Ok Computer producer Nigel Godrich, Beck drummer Joey Waronker and percussionist Mauro Refosco (who has worked with They Might Be Giants and David Byrne). Yorke made the announcement on Radiohead's website earlier today that the group will make its live debut this Sunday and Monday, October 4 and 5, at Los Angeles' venerable Orpheum Theatre.
